Welcome to Fernandina Beach Main Street
The Fernandina Beach Main Street Program kicked off in 2015 and was expanded in 2019. We’re part of the National Main Street Program that includes more than 1,200 communities – large and small, rural and urban – in all 50 states.
We all share the same goal: strengthening communities through preservation-based economic vitality in older and historic downtowns and neighborhood commercial districts.

Downtown Dollars
Downtown Dollars are the ultimate way to support local businesses. It's simple and all about increasing the economic vitality in our downtown district. These gift certificates can be redeemed at participating downtown shops, restaurants, and services, keeping dollars circulating where they matter most, right here in our community.
2026 Preservation Awards

The City of Fernandina Beach and Fernandina Beach Main Street (collectively, the Award Program Partners) recognize outstanding efforts to preserve the community’s unique architectural character. Historic structures contribute significantly to the identity of Fernandina Beach, and the sensitive treatment of these resources ensures that residents and visitors alike continue to experience the city’s rich historic character.
