What Is All Access Main Street?
The All Access Main Street (AAMS) program, an initiative of Fernandina Beach Main Street, aligns with the National Main Street Program’s mission to enhance economic vitality in historic downtowns while fostering inclusivity. AAMS promotes accessibility for customers and visitors of all abilities, recognizing the growing market of older adults and individuals with disabilities. The program emphasizes that access-friendly businesses benefit from increased customer engagement, better service, and potential revenue growth. Participation is free, and businesses can assess their accessibility through a structured checklist covering design, communication, and organizational practices. Recognized businesses receive promotional support, demonstrating their commitment to inclusivity and community engagement
